Finally we get to the awesome parts of this book. Clint bringing Adel a dog being one of them. That was so sweet and what he needed the dog too. Jimmy being Cory had me confused at first but so good now. Jimmy/Cory saved them from having stop. Can't wait for more.

I love certain parts but others I hate a lot. The smut is the best of it that's a definite. The violence just isn't my taste. I also can't picture Axel like he is in the cover for how he is described in the book. Maybe having a blah night, but not hitting with me like Cowboy Up and Cowboy Love did. I also hate a word that's being used for gay. I think there is no use for that no matter what. Was horrified to see it.

I like Clint and Axel so far I want to hug Adel so badly though what he went through. The beginning of the book wasn't expecting Clint to be the boy that was ripping into those guys. I did love how Clint threatened Axel's brother Wade who's in jail going prison for what he did to his brothers and Axel. Not sure how feel about Jimmy yet he is annoying. I am not fan of the f word in here and don't mean the one with u.

Read some of the blurbs for the Phoenix Club books and while the Angel & Gabriel ones are probably a necessity, I haven't seen more than a mention for characters in the other books; HOWEVER, the Phoenix Chronicles books should be read first because it appears at least one of those is directly before this. But, if you're like me - a completist - it's gonna bug you if you don't read them all first.

For anyone else interested in reading this? I HIGHLY recommend reading the ENTIRE Phoenix Club series by this author first. I only read a few of them (years ago, the first 3 I think & never got around to the rest) and there's a TON of stuff that I'm only barely picking up on because it ALL occurred in those books.
I'd stop now (since I hate picking up in the middle or tail end of something) but I need it for Spell.
