So she gets attacked and is “mad”
At Archer “ why were you there? You have been watching my every move?” Which she HATED and bitched about! So you get mad because you were going out on dates and he couldn’t handle watching you do it again?!

I wish I could erase this book from my memory.

Make her make sense. She's on the run. Was beaten with a mere inch of her life.
Demands that a random stranger let her stay in his house because a mutual friend said it was ok, and it's not even his home.
Then some random who's only met her once to let her in the apartment block, asks her on a date and then offers to buy a dress for her to wear on their date and she's like YASSSS!!
She's vapid, borderline stupid!

The beginning was sooo confusing.
She's battered and bruised but is comfortable with living with a stranger. Then proceeds to have a stand off with the owner of the house, and demands he LET HER stay, in his house. Like WTF. Who demands that of a stranger. It was just a very unrealistic scenario.

I don't know how I feel about either character at this point. But it is an arc so I shall push on....
