Status Updates From Square Wave

DNF at 115 pages in. I rarely dnf books; however, I have to agree with a reviewer who wrote that reading this book is like watching someone watching himself flexing in the mirror. Not how I want to spend my time.

Becoming a real grind. Incoherent. None of the back flap promises are true. Feels like writerly masturbation. Where was the editor? The self indulgence is out of control.

I was lukewarm about this one the 1st time around but am giving it another go as de Silva has a 1000-pager coming out that I have my eye on
