The book is getting really good quickly! It’s so sad about Laurent’s death, and I’m really excited to read the next chapter. Where I left off, they were walking through the forest and found his stick, but not only that, they found the monster!

I really enjoy all of the books in the series. It feels comforting to visit the set of characters that I have gotten to know. This book was particularly interesting as it was based on a true story and learning the details of Canadian history was fascinating.
