Status Updates From Breaking (Fall Or Break, #2)

So many mixed feelings about this. RTC when I can get around to it.

This book is slow going. I think it's probably just me thing and my brain is tired and sleepy. Conrad and Archer are interesting MCs but the thriller part isn't interesting. Plus the humour isn't really working for me.

Not sure how I feel about Archer and Conrad yet. Definitely like Conrad more. He's more sympathetic and accessible.

The scene setting with Conrad is kinda slow. It better pick up soon.

Seriously?? I don't think real men think ENDLESSLY about who's going to top!!!

What the fuck archer cannot die this book is not right what the fuck is going on I am losing it Conrad how the hell could you let them die archer cannot die this book and I am like

I love how they know what each other is thinking and how Conrad just Deep Throat it him and he just came in like five seconds this is amazing they have so much to discover about each other Conrad would die for archer archer would die for him to he just has to stop running and let go because Conrad is going to be there to catch him

He finally got Conrad and now it archers turn

“Shit.”
Conrad frowned. “What?” He looked down. “My pants too short?”
“You look so fucking hot I want to push you down on that bed and fuck your heart out.”

A man rose from a chair by a blazing fire, turned to face them and Archer froze. His world imploded as his brain struggled to make sense of what he was seeing.

“I’m not a bottom,” Conrad said (.....). He wanted to hurt Archer, damage him, bite him, taste him, lick him, suck him, kiss him, fuck him—be fucked by him. (...)
“Yeah, you said. I know. I get it. Neither am I. I’ll fight you too, but not now. I’m too tired.”
“I’ll try not to wake you when I fuck you,” Conrad said.
He felt Archer shaking as he laughed.

Going to bed, nighty folks!

“Jesus,” Conrad whispered and slumped back.
“He’s not here at the moment. And I’m not into threesomes.”

He felt the mattress tilt as Archer got off the bed, but heard him chuckle. He fucking knows the state I’m in. Conrad kept his eyes closed but was aware the guy had leaned in close because he could feel his breath hitting his cheek.
“I am going to fuck you,” Archer whispered.

Not feeling the book so far, but it's enough to pass time, I guess...
