The less good: dark and tragic backstory, though with the potential to turn.
The annoying: commas after adjectives of quantity and number, which are never coordinate and should not be treated as such.

i didn’t realize how long this book was, but i’m loving it so far. the magic system is one of the most unique ones i’ve ever read.
