6 days with no word to anyone and without his meds a few days into a manic depressive episode with absolutely no mention about it again is making me really frothy.

While we were in Tahoe, he’d opened up to me about the negative side of fame, the overzealous fans, straight-up psychopaths, and even the death threats that he’d had to endure.
With as little page time as these two have had together I would've loved to have been able to read that scene rather than a throwaway sentence in a later chapter. It may have made me like Zan more (or at all). 🤷‍♀️

Okay, I guess the main takeaway from this is that Gianni is terrible judge of character? I mean, honestly, same. So maybe I'm being too harsh.

I'm sorry. What the fuck? This dude's agoraphobic enough to not leave his house to attend his own son's brain surgery, but he's going to leave the house for the guy he's barely spoken to...sure that makes all the sense in the world. That's not just terrible writing at all.

“I guess Zan was pissed because I didn’t tell him I was leaving in person. But why would he care? He spends most of his time avoiding me, so he should be glad. That was just one less awkward conversation he was forced to endure with me.”
What is happening?! Aren't they supposed to be the main character couple?! Why is this prat flying off to New York to be with some other dude?!

I am so confused. I thought the story was about Gianni and Zan? How are we this far along and Gianni is still having sex with someone else and he and Zan have barely spoken?? Also, is it just me or is Gianni a super sad sack in this installment? Where's the confident guy from the other books?
