[kindle] I was actually just interested in Gogol’s benchmark short story “The Overcoat”, but the complete works was only $2. Gogol was born in Ukraine but wrote in Russian; he’s considered the cultural nexus of the Ukraine-Russia relationship. Surrealistically, it’s January 2022 and Russia is about invade Ukraine (again). This may change the World as much as the COVID epidemic.
