Status Updates From Novels 1987–1997: Bluebeard...

I’ve just finished Bluebeard (the first novel in this collection) which I would give 4/5 stars. Vonnegut uses this “autobiography” as a lens to highlight societal issues of abuse, misogyny, suic*de, war and associated mental health issues, and a lot of other important problems, while still telling an interesting story and using his classic wit to keep readers entertained.
