This book is the most infuriating book i have read on Elizabeth of York next to Philippa Gregory. She is painted as weak and some how magically Henry who had been in exile for 14 years and not educated as he should have been knew exactly how to be a King. I have no doubt that not only was she strong but she taught him how to be a king just not in public. It is taking everything in me to finish this and not throw it

It's very much giving off the vibe that this was written by a historian rather than someone seasoned in fiction writing.

I don’t think this is particularly well written, but Elizabeth of York is one of my historical niches so I shall persist.

It reads a little bit like a textbook, but I can deal with it for now

This book is so amazing 🥲 I love how she portrayed Elizabeth and Henry, you could feel their love throughout the story and when she passed away he truly felt her death and was never the same again😭❤️‍🩹

My heart stopped when Elizabeth got a fever 😢
