Status Updates From Imajica

I don't want this book to end; it is so creative and wild. I have flip-flopped so much between liking and disliking it, but in the end I think I love it; Barker is just such a good author; the ending is really making things click for me.

This book is really starting to make me rolls my eyes. There are so many moments where the big baddie is killable, but of course our characters always decide that No wait! Maybe we shouldn't kill him. Or maybe we should instead kill him in this other way that obviously won't work! It's ridiculous and it happens too much and this book is way too damn long for its own good even though Barker is a great writer.
