Schools were not mixed in France in the 1920s. You can see that she did some research on France at this period but there are still some things that are way off.

BABY VAMP!!!!!!!

awwww, i really do love juliana and bastien's friendship so much 🥹

last chapter we got celine's confession in front of anaïs...and now we get bastien's in front of jules. i absolutely adore these parallel moments

and oh, bastien...i love this idiot loverboy so much 💗 thank goodness for jules, who had the patience to knock some sense into him while still being the bestie he needed

"i don't think anyone in love has ever been happy. love is pain and all those poets are liars."

omg, anaïs...who hurt you? 😭

CEL ADMITTED IT. OH MY GOD???

the way i SCREAMED. i was basically at girls' night with celine and anaïs, kicking my feet, squealing into a pillow and living for every second of this conversation. aaaaaaa 🤭💗

"you and bastien are having an affai—"

OH MY GIRL ANAÏS IS BACK!!! 😭😭😭

never change, my favorite gossipmonger. i missed her so much <33

also...that kiss was— ahem, ahem.

i'll just be over here pretending i'm completely normal about it (i'm absolutely not)

WHEN ARE THEY GETTING TOGETHER??? 😭

but oh my goodness, i absolutely adored bastien's partnership idea with celine. this entire chapter was pure bliss 🥹

we finally got more of bas and cel just...talking, teasing, dreaming and spending time together, and i was smiling through the whole thing. aaaaaaa i need 200 more chapters exactly like this, pls and thank you 🩷
