OMG! Rudy is so adorable! I want to hug him and never let him go. And Ellis is such a great brother... he breaks my heart at how much he sacrifices for his big brother.

Finished... But that ending was no ending. Definitely want to read book #2 now. Glad I have it on hand.

Emotionally difficult read. Adrienne Wilder does such an excellent job at showing the complexity of human emotion. How burden, resentment can exist in tandem with love and commitment.
It's a heavy read, Wilder doesn't shy away from showing the difficulties of a young man who's the sole caretaker of a brother with ASD. My heart hurts so I'm taking a few days to recover before finishing it.
