That chapter from Samantha's perspective (and a bit of Nathan's?) felt very random and surprisingly obtrusive. I don't like her so far, and having the other characters think/say what they like about her is just annoying, not convincing. I hope this chapter was a one-time aberration and we don't have to go back into her head.
