I am taking a break but will be starting on Book 3. I love these books.

Promising start but plot moppets ahoy

Beach House - NO MYSTERY OR SECRET BABIES!! Trend breaking of epic proportions. Novella so fleeting where I might have liked a bit more but I enjoyed what I did have.

The Boat Builder's Bed - too much Venn diagram overlap with my favorite things set up wise for perspective but it made for a lovely read for me. Nice twist on mystery baby: the secret hidden baby.

Just For You - huzzah no mystery babies! Plot moppets remain. Mid anthology break was a success improvement detected.

Playing to Win - DNF I just could not, a beginning so cliched I couldn't even make it to the hero (frantic workaholic girl in crisis, plot moppet kid with dog) just No not my thing.
Falling for Jack - 3 mystery baby out of 4 novels, only 2 have had dogs. I am realizing this anthology is built around the cozy version of romance novels, but the transformative power of fatherhood is not my thing.

The Playboy's Redemption - 2 novels in, 2 secret baby dramas, and too many bogus secrets that are really just communication problems. The characters and settings have been charming, but I may be discovering the source my contemporary romance resistances

Melting Into You - there is a lot too like, but ugh with the inability to have a honest meaningful conversation. The plot moppets are almost too much as well.

Absolutely loving this set! What a warm, fun-loving Mother's Day read! I'm almost thru Falling for Jack, and already stalking the author to see if there's an Ethan/Sage book in my future!

LOVED book1! Laughed, cried, commiserated & cannot wait to read more from this author! Onto book 2...
