So excited to finally get to the chapter in which the May family shows up and intersects with the Underwoods, since I’m currently reading their story in The Daisy Chain! ❤️

My newfound love and appreciation for Wilmet is approaching that of the love I hold for Felix’s character!!

I’m absolutely loving little subtleties in Wilmer’s character that I’m picking up on in this reread. She reminds me so much of Elinor Dashwood. ❤️

My interest is waning…I could see this being a great televised limited series, though! There are too many characters to feel close to any of them—it’s almost as if the family, as a whole, is the main character?
