I've been looking forward to this book and it's... ok? But not great. The background story is interesting enough, but the book is framed as a romance between Martin and Gray, and tbh they're both boring me to tears. Probably because the author is just using them as mouthpieces for exposition instead of actually telling us their STORY, all while hinting at the other romances I'm assuming are planned for other books.
