This mission had started with combing through a few spreadsheets and offshore accounts to dating some murderous woman. 🤣👏🏻

Omg… I laughed so hard but wanted to cry at the same time. If all the freaking characters I thought would bring me to tears I NEVER thought it would be HIM. It hasn’t happened yet but DAMN I bet it’s him. Shit!

“Yes. She did that. And this.” I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the brutality of the photos. “Don’t let her looks fool you. She is not here to fuck you; she’s here to make sure you play your role, and if you don’t, this could be you.”

She’s a fucking badass… don’t fuck with her or fuck things up for her.

Dan clicked another photo on the screen. It was a dead man. His mouth had been smashed in, and there was a bullet hole in the side of his head. I stepped closer to look at the gruesome photo. “Is that a fireplace poker?”

When (she) was sixteen, she’d had this stupid quote stuck to her mirror. Something about one soul, two bodies. I thought it was silly. Then I fell in love with her. Now I understood it.

Can you be something other than a killer? Because I don’t think I can. I think it’s starting to consume me. It feels like a rot that sits in the pit of my stomach and it’s spreading.

Most of her pieces were knitting themselves back together. There were some missing; they were still in that **** apartment. There were always a few missing pieces.

I learned what her fear looked like, and I saw it again now. The lie I told would be the knife they used to cut her. I had let the thirst for revenge on my father put her in danger. I knew who **** was. But I would take that name to hell with me.

The slower it was done, the more truthful people tended to be. When you add pain, they’ll say anything to end it. I needed the truth…. (I’m liking her more and more. I wonder what that says about me? 🤔🫣)

I really fuckin hope she does but at the same time hope she doesn’t have to but does so just for the sake of doing so.
