I was happy to pick this up anyway, when I saw a decently-priced used copy for sale…but it’s always nice to get home and check one of my “100 Best” lists and find out it’s a book on the list. Or sort of, in this case; this is in a vast “Further Recommendations” section that follows a “100 Best Horror Books” list, and I have been going after those bonus books for years.

I get that the writing style is interesting, but these are not scary. Hoping things improve.
