Ok. So I’m getting a bit into it now. And I have to say, that little sneaky session that they had… good, but a bit concerning. I’m a little behind on the current timeline, so she was 17 when she left and now it’s been a year? I sure hope it has. Otherwise, he is a very very old man, trying to sleep with a 17yr old 😟. Nah I think she is at LEAST 18. Which is still not ok.

Fantasy literature has fallen on sad times, apparently. This is so painfully stereotypical, the characters are petulant and immature and the entire "magic" system is utter bullcrap. Even middle school students can read Homer and Dostoyevsky, who is the target audience for this?
