As a seventh grade English Language Arts teacher, am learning so much from this book! I am getting new ideas that I can use to allow my students to bring their own modern culture to their compositions. Imagine writing a personal narrative or a myth by composing a Tic Toc dance! Song and dance have preserved culture throughout history! Also, the implications for possibilities for ELL students are outstanding!
