Status Updates From Les yeux d'ambre

i was disheartened by the first story and its shallow flaunting of moral questions that I couldn't really get into with the same concern the characters had, and when I read the second story i forgot the author was the same for a bit. morally interesting in all the ways the first wasn't, with some mesmerizing descriptions of alien beings, it engaged me. so i guess im holding out hope for the rest

I stopped reading this book, I had no interest in the second story and the third didn't seem any better.
