trash-talk yourself, better do it in your head because the next person who comes at you, including you? I am going to take a swing at. No joke.”

I rubbed the side of my face. “That hurt.”

"How?"
"By going and getting the whole story. I'm coming back, so you better get better locks, build a moat, or move because when I come back, I am pinning you down to the ground until you can see I want to be with you. Your opinion in this matter no longer counts."

[Linda:] "God, you two idiots are really perfect for each other. No, you hayseed dipshit, it means this is where you prove what you feel. This is where you both dig in and make it work.

Granted, she's only a very minor character, just the straight waitress who's hitting on Tyler and sulking afterwards, but, haha... I don't care :D

So, the joke was the other way round - still don't think it's funny.

“Would Riley be happy that Tyler spends every night wishing he had made a different choice that night? Would Riley have wanted so many people to be miserable in his name? Because from the stories I have heard, he didn’t seem like that at all.”

“And do you look at guys and think they’re hot?”

Only when I saw the door close and the light inside come on did I let out the sob I’d been holding in the entire time. I bit the inside of my cheek and drove off toward my house. When I got to the end of the block, I stopped and turned off the car.
And screamed as loud as I could.

*sobs*

I'm always so torn about this..I mean,Tyler did a bad thing..but then,it's Tyler..we forgave him

“So I am going to go get the story, the whole story, and then I am going to come back here and tell you I still want to be with you. You are going to complain but honestly, Tyler, I don’t give a fuck. I am crazy about you, not this perfect image of you, and I am going to prove it.”

It’s the question no one with a brain asks when dating. Do you know the guy you’re falling for? The short answer is always no, of course you don’t. No one is himself when he dates; instead he is the best version of himself because he doesn’t want to scare the other guy away.

Each word she said left another wound open and bleeding for the world to see. Every accusation was another blow that he didn’t block. He looked like a boxer standing dazed in the ring, no fight left, beaten mercilessly by an opponent gone crazy.
