Status Updates From Lovely, Dark, and Deep

Some stories are great and several are terrible. Some show beautiful remixing styles and some feel like unedited school assignments. Some are light hearted and some are garish horror.

This anthology is very frustrating and has been badly chosen. I don't have the will to try yet another story and face the russian roulette.

I couldn't read the first story (m/m i think?) due to writing all over the place. Second story (m/m) was okay but would have greatly benefited some research. Third (f/f) was lovely, clear writing and good world building.

Currently reading fourth. Not enjoying the tries-too-hard writing at all so far.

I'm probably going to end up skipping some stories and focusing my review on just the ones that interested me. Like this one with elves!
