Status Updates From Oubliette

I'm usually a fan of atmospheric reads but the descriptions in this are so redudant, goolishly horrific AND YET metaphorical that they border on becoming platitudes. Also the dialogue is so cryptic, confusing, unnatural, etc etc that it's near incomprehensible.
Doesn't help that the FMC has no consistent personality whatsoever or that the themes keep being repeated over and over again while staying surface level...

"you can weep for your mother, anne,... even if you didnt much like her, you can still grieve the pace she has left behind, for the person you wished she could have been"

"Would you give yourself to me completely?"

"My flesh and bones are thin, but they are yours if you covet them. The pieces of my heart and soul are worn to nearly nothing. I fear you would starve. Take me, devour me, burn me, but tell me what you offer in return?"

"Ruin me," I whisper back, my hand still at my neck in near strangulation. "Take the remains of me, these pieces of flesh and ruin them. Leave your scars, your bruises, fill me with sin until I choke."

"Take the stars," my mother whispers. "Pluck them from the skies and bring them inside so I can love them."

"We are ouroboros, endless. You are mine, and I am yours, and that is all that matters."
