35% update: I’m still waiting for this one to fully grab me. 😩 There are SO many characters, relationships, timelines, and side stories that I keep having to stop and remind myself who everyone is. I’m definitely starting to see some of the pieces connect now, which has me more curious than I was at the beginning, but it’s been a very slow start for me. Hoping the next chunk is where it finally clicks!

20% / page 75: Still struggling to become invested. The opening has felt confusing and fragmented, with frequent shifts between characters/storylines. British terminology has occasionally added difficulty, but the larger issue is that the story hasn’t hooked me yet. Despite several major events already occurring, I’m feeling more motivated to finish than motivated to find out what happens next.
