Extreme? Certainly. The homoerotic nature of a lot of this text doesn’t bother me like the overall sexual violence. Not that books are here on this planet to be all hunky dory, and it reminds me there a contingent of people that want to do these things beyond what is written. This is grudge read for now. Determined to finish it.
