Status Updates From Murder at the 42nd Street L...

I did not look at ratings before starting. It was on a list of library recs for read-alikes inspired by The Librarians. The list included The Historian, The Eyre Affair, The Rook, The Strange Library, The Library at Mount Char, Every Heart a Doorway, The Bad-Ass Librarians at Timbuktu, A Deadly Education and The Starless Sea, all of which I have read and enjoyed. This book does NOT belong on the same list.
