I am not a reader of non-fiction. I find it boring and uninteresting. Most of the time. However, Salak has proven me wrong on both counts with this book. While I'm still reading this, she has me fascinated and filled with wonder as she recounts this journey. There is a level of spirituality, self-reflection, cultural understanding, and, I don't know, romanticism that fills every aspect of this narrative. Worth it
