So far it feels like we’re getting to experience the emotions of each character from the other’s perspective. We see the mmc’s panic attack from the fmc’s perspective. We see the fmc’s bottled up anger from the mmc’s perspective. But we don’t yet have any depth from the characters about their own emotions/mental state and I find that very lacking. I find it difficult to connect with either one.
