Status Updates From Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell

Mr. Norrell spends a lot of time ensuring there are no other English magicians. And politics/the war. He brings Lady Pole back to life, becoming famous. Meanwhile, Lady Pole's household is terrorized by the fae with the thistledown hair, and the butler, Stephen Black, seems to be important. Jonathan Strange starts practicing magic meeting Vinculus, who has prophesied that two men will bring magic back to England.
