Status Updates From In the Middle of Somewhere ...

Oops overestimated how far through I was. Dnf at 34%. Just couldn’t do it. Might try the second book to see if that’s any better?

Listening at 3.0x to try and get through this lol. Not really liking it but I paid for it so forcing myself to finish it. Should have just bought the second book, the one I actually wanted to read.

Ended up having a break from this. Wasn’t sure if I’d continue. Don’t really like Daniel. Like Rex. Will see how it goes.

Often times in romance, everything is La de dah until the conflict of the third act. What I'm really enjoying about this book is that we follow our MCs through multiple 'early relationship problems'.

This feels very much like following a real life couple through the first few months of a relationship where both partners have serious emotional obstacles to happiness rather than one major event. 5 star book right here

Feel like I’m going to have to force myself through this one since I bought the book to listen to it on audible but I’m a bit over Daniel already. I wanted to read this one to get to the second book.

So he thinks all college kids are entitled brats yet he was a college student 2 seconds ago. 🙄

NGL lads did not read the blurb for this one and have spent too long thinking it was a werewolf novel and his love interest was going to be the dog he hit with his car.
