Okay based off the cover I'm going to assume they're both dark brown skinned? Jordan is biracial and her hair fights with her a lot but I wasn't sure and in a book like this, yeah details matter.

Yeah no, I went back and I still have no distinct details what either Jordan or Joey look like. I have clear descriptions of everybody else, including all the parents.

These chapters are exceedingly long. It’s a lot of characters and I don’t remember what the other MMC looks like cuz there was one brief intro that was brushed off in passing.

Small town where everybody already knows who you are is stressful. But I get Buffy vibes from this too, at times.
