Started today, running smoothly.

Um... Would have been nice to know the Councils reaction to the Alpha Challenge, results, and revelation. I let that go, but now Tris is talking like his parents are dead. I thought he'd earlier said his and Chris' parents were traveling. While I'm at it, why did Jake say he could call if he wasn't going to answer the phone.

This is my first book from this author, and the first in a new series. But... I really feel like I'm missing important pieces of a back story. Hopefully that will improve, but I did at least learn that it's an offshoot from a previous series. The problem is that I shouldn't have noticed it enough I had to investigate on GoodRds.
