I laughed so hard when I noticed that while Guts was talking to the shepherd Casca was imitating the sheep in the background and Farnese was trying to make her stop. I love how Puck is acting very friendly and familiar with them: calling them Serpy and Farny! It’s so cute! I love him so much! And I have to say, assigning Farnese the duty of the bonfire is insane! She’s a bit too comfortable with fire to be honest

I can’t wait to see Puck’s home! And I’m sure the road there will be perilous! That shepherd said to watch out for trolls! And the fact that they’re roaming there is crazy. It is way harder with both Guts and Casca (or as the skeleton knight says, Those of the Brand) at the same place.

The last chapter in this volume “Like a Baby” made me laugh so hard! I love this ragtag team so much I’d lose it if anything happened to any of them. I was wondering about Isidro’s shirt and then they showed how it happened…PEAK COMEDY! When Farnese burned (accidentally, or at least I hope it was by accident) Isidro I lost it! It is so funny! Poor thing!

But it seems that he is as powerful is a that other realm. And I keep thinking about when Guts has to eventually face all the Apostles and be done with them (Nosferatu Zodd included) he will still have to face him and it will not be easy. I hate this! So much! I wish that somehow Casca will be the one to do it but I don’t think it’ll ever happen.

And Lord Mule was thinking that those were legendary heroes who have died or have long been dead and now they’re alive and well. Yeah, they’re totally Apostles or Griffith somehow resurrected them. The dead souls gathering around Griffith after the battle was a pretty sight but I wonder if it is real or if he is using Sonia’s help with that. I don’t know how far his power goes.

I really really like where Farnese’s story is going! Plus, the short hair suits her. What’s happening with Lord Mule is quite interesting too! Irvine is so cool! So is Grunbeld the “Great Flame Dragon” and so is Sonia! Is she the oracle? They said that she’s Griffith’s medium so she might be. The War Demons are an interesting addition too. It feels so wrong to call them the Band of the Hawk!It really does

I loved this volume so much! But CAN CASCA CATCH A FUCKING BREAK? It was sweet to see Guts care for her and protect her but then it turned so dark so quickly. I’m so glad that he let Farnese and Serpico and Isidro join them. Casca killing those evil pieces of shits was interesting! I thought for a second that something had snapped and she was able to remember it all and come back but sadly it’s not that simple
