Darcy and Elizabeth meet at the 30% mark, which is about 200 pages into the story. They meet at an assembly, and there is an insult, but it is different than canon. I'm still enjoying the story. Although it's long, I'm not bored (yet).

This is a very long story that begins at the time of Elizabeth's birth. By 21% Elizabeth is 16 years old.
Despite the length, I'm finding it engaging, and I'm not bored. The story shifts between several families: the Bennets, the Fitzwilliams, the Darcys, and Lady Catherine. It seems to be carefully building a foundation for what is to come.
