Status Updates From The River and the Book

This book was powerful in the simplest way possible. I cannot tell you exactly what the plot was, nothing really exciting happened throughout the story, it just… flowed. The story progressed and you just were happy to be able to follow Sim, to be able to hear her thoughts and about her family and the people she loves. Its a river. A river that makes you feel safe but also reminds you what you would be without it.

Why did that boy wait so patiently for Simbala to come out of the house? I mean, I would be panicking if I knew that a person is in mortal peril, in danger to lose her life, and I was the only one able to get help, I would be nervous as shit. I would scream and shout for help, there is a life on the line after all. But nah, bro sits on the stairs for an hour before Simbala comes out to see him. Hmm.
