The final summation was a good overview but I really didn’t understand why invoking Jesus’ name would protect you from any of these encounters. Outside of Toby Johnson and maybe one other, there aren’t any accounts that back up this claim.

Interesting tampering and monitoring of researchers. I like the Finding Bigfoot missing tape story

The First Contact meeting with Eisenhower seems like it could’ve happened but there aren’t enough details of who exactly was there. I wish it were true. The second meeting with the Greys is even more difficult to believe but it makes for good sci-fi.

This Chilbolton crop formation is really intriguing and I never knew about the binary code Sagan and Drake transmitted to space.

This Anasazi chapter was quite the head scratcher because there’s too much speculation to even warrant an opinion. It was interesting for sure but I can’t even begin to put a pin on it.

Finally finished the mounds chapter. Interesting speculation of compost dropped aerially. Also short section on subterranean cohabitation between aliens and Bigfoot, which should’ve been longer than the mounds portion, personally. The Hum as well was too short if it was really trying to be tied with subterranean bases. I’m not well versed on Mt. Shasta but I believe USOs are more water-based than underground.

Great story of the things that barreled through the forest and touched Thom in the woods by his house. The zoo hypothesis is interesting as is the Fermi paradox. Mima Mounds story sounds bogus.

Ron Lewis’ encounter is the basis for the Shady Neighbors grave incident. I wonder if Thom got his permission to use it. The telepathic garbage dump, connected to A Flash of Beauty? I really don’t see how that stuff could happen. I’m open minded, just skeptical until I can experience it or witness someone in that state.

I really liked Larry’s quicksilver story and I’m curious why those who’ve seen it haven’t tried tossing a rock in. Thom says Paulides related a story of a hiker putting their arm in, but just like water, toss a rock in first. I’d love to see one. Stick a camera inside and snap pictures or video the entrance. This all goes without saying that a true encounter may alter my stance. Haha

Interesting end of the abduction stories but I find Miri’s appearance coincidental. The portal phenomenon is quite woo but I wish I could’ve experienced Kirk Sigurdson’s encounter.

Great abduction stories, just got annoying with the Hesley Heights genius neighborhood getting praised for pages and pages. I want to read that Encounter at Buff Ledge book now

Starting in on the London trackway and it all sounds too good to be true. I’m curious if the chapter will end with the findings of it being faked. Also glad to see Autumn Williams was involved still in 2012

Great stories about Jim Henry and the OP. Now I wish I had spent more time there. Fingers crossed I can visit soon for some time in the woods!

More on the Skookum cast. Rick from Ripplebrook is maybe where Thom got the idea of dream interference in Shady Neighbors. Looking forward to viewing photos on my iPad to see more details instead of b&w Voyage. Very good so far.

I now see even more how autobiographical Shady Neighbors is in its characters and setting. The Coconut Telegraph seems like a coincidence or just three knocks in his mind like he experienced while driving. I don’t see the connection other than sleep deprivation, dangerous situation, and salvation by arriving home.
