This may be my first DNF of the year. I just can’t do books where the FMC is so insecure about everything. She spends the whole time inside her head about it. I’m giving it 3/4 more chapters to see if it changes

The drama and characters feel very high school. I love a bully romance but this one feels scattered and immature. I can tell by the FMCs POV I’m gonna be annoyed at why she chooses to forgive him. So far her slips into liking the bully feel quick and unmotivated.

The writing isn’t good and the plot is boring, but I’m still reading it. It’s almost 6 in the morning, and I’ve been reading since 4 a.m. I wonder why—insomnia must really be messing with me again 🤪😭👀💀🤦‍♂️

Feeling like a real fucking loser bc I desperately want these two to stop going to pound town for a second. I think it’s bc the sex is perfect. Why isn’t she more weird about this? Where is the storytelling?!

The writing of this book is so weird, I like the paragraphs in general but the dialogue seems off. Like they’re puppets.

Also, there’s no way you can fall in love with your attempted murderer in a couple of weeks.
