Status Updates From What Lies Within

I reread this from the start. I can't focus on reading this last time because of too many house chores. So far, I like the flow of the story. The mysteries around keeps me on edge.

I really hated pretty much everything about this annoying, pointless, disjointed, obnoxious book. Full review to come.

Shelley is so annoying and her actions make zero sense. Seriously considering a DNF............ except I do want to know what the heck is going on. There had better be a seriously good payoff for finishing this one.

Started this one yesterday... interesting, but hopefully the incredibly negative feelings/attitudes towards adoption are addressed later in the narrative. I can understand this character being upset, but acting like it literally ruins her life, like she has no 'real' family, explains why she has always been an outsider, etc. - I don't like that, or the way that she is treating her adopted dad like trash.
