Wait...didn't she go for him because it seemed he wouldn't put the moves on her?? And now the socially awkward nerd is being all alpha?

"I've been with a grand total of five women so I'm probably not the sex-god you expect."
"Well, that's four people more than I've ever been with, so you'll have more of a clue than I will."
"You've only been with one guy?"
She nodded.

Sorry, but how he's acting in this scene isn't at all like the socially awkward, shy, geeky IT dude he supposedly is.
