Status Updates From Dragon of Legend: Destiny

Now Skies was non responsive she was hit with an arrow in the shoulder that had poison on it it was going through her body trying to shut her body down. Redemption and the other dragon Destiny were doing all they could to help her to get her out of there to get her help. She just needed to hang on.

This chapter pulls you right in from the descent from the previous chapter they knew what was about to happen. Akira knew it was most likely going to be bad. There was fire in the village and people were running away and now they were being attacked as they got to the ground with arrows. A big fight was about to happen there was a bigger dragon that was about to attack Redemption. As they fought Akira was being hurt.

Wow this book certainly just caught my attention the conversation between characters is flowing smoothly like a conversation in real life. This is a conversation between a dragon's rider and her dragon and one who comes to the scene. A past event trauma tries to change the mind of Akira the rider as they see a village burning in the distance her dragon convinces her they are going to help but she isn't happy about it

The mood in the story was a tense, heroic, and almost funny mood. This was because of the charters' personalities and the action taking place in the book.

Akira is the white Ryder. And she and her dragon are the only way to stop Hydan and his black dragon from taking over the lands. It started hundreds of years of go. And Hydan has struck fear through the lands, and is slowly taking over lands near the academy. If he get the academy, the war is over, Hayden wins. Even more fear, there is more pressure on her.

Akira now retraining her self harder to over come her loss of sight. And the council isn't doing anything to help, only making her task harder. The setting in the book is nice. It's more of a medieval era. The are some parts that are modern, like there engineering and inventions. The academy is also one of a slightly crossed design. It's more of a mix between modern and the medieval times.

(9/25 update) Akira is now trained and leading, meaning she is the top rider there. But Haydn's forces are getting stronger. After a surprise attack on the academy, Haydn leaves Akira wounded, but this time taking her sight form her. Akira is facing a man vs. man problem, an external. she has to defeat an older and more experienced foe Haydn. But now she has to do this blind.

(First book) Akira's dragon is the dragon of legend. Redemption still hasn't told her that, but when they go to attack a small army attacking a village, Akira is wounded. They retreat and people from the dragon academy find them, and train them. Soon meeting Hadain for the first time, he blinds she and leaves her to train even harder, blind. They meet again later, and with Akira, now not blind manages to defeat him

Akira was wounded in the proses of trying to save a burning village. With her two dragons, Redemption and destiny, they move thorough the forest, and settle for a camp. The blade that wounded Akira was poisoned, and now Akira need help or she'll die. I like how adventures, and curious she is. She is also heroics and brave. She reminds me of some one who is willing to save the world.
