Status Updates From Darkhaven (Darkhaven, #1)

well, just decided i won't be reading this for one (1) single character i find interesting, and i really don't care about the whodunit

i expected this romance to be more of a slowburn... and also i can't shake the feeling of "basicness" when reading this, can't quite put a finger on the reason why

so far this gives me a distinct "by the book" impression, of a story and setup that's pretty basic. but we will see how it all unfolds. i think i am intrigued enough to continue, especially by myrren (and serenna)

Have to finish this one today even though I'm not motivated at all

Tbh I'm struggeling. It really lacks world building so far and Ayla makes me want to hurt her really bad for being such a brat...
