Status Updates From Americanah

I’ve read many multi-POV, immigrate to America or Europe from Africa, etc. books that would define this story. I found so many of the other books better than this. I totally get why everyone else does rate this book so well. I can understand that this was one of the first books defining this type of book, so the foundational status means something and makes me want to rate it higher than I normally would.
