Either the other edited this portion of the book more or I've just gotten used to her (over)writing style. I think it's more likely the latter because it's still a super slow read despite all the action and suspense. Taken me 5 days just to get to this point 😝

I am being driven out of my mind with boring details about things I could care less about. I am 9% into this book and I've already put it down twice. I read a couple more pages, and I don't think I can finish this one. I might go crazy if I read about how her ring itches (what?!) one more time or have to endure her awkwardness anymore... Ugh.
