Finally incorporating scripture into the argument. This I can deal with and respect so much more than what came before.

I'm no longer just disappointed because of the lack of scriptural support for the first third of the book. Now the author has blasphemed by saying that God can lead people to sin, and in an attempt to refute a deeply researched passage in MacArthurs book he has missed the point entirely and cherry-picked quotes which ignore historical and academic context. Not sure I'm going to be able to finish reading it.

Very disappointing thus far, but I'm trying to stay open to reasonable arguments.
