Status Updates From Eagle Man and Mr Hawk

Are we supposed to find Alex's sister very strange? Because I do.
She is has a job and kids and for some reason calls her grown up brother every day to nag him about nothing. And then she shows up at his tiny cabin (in another city) unannounced, with her kids. And follows him to the home of the guy he only just started dating, who she's never met.

Alex: "You're the one who ran off."
Ethan: "I had a duck emergency."
Alex: "If I had a penny for every time someone's used that excuse..."

Well, Ethan, you did spill beer all over the guy. Even if he is being a jerk I believe buying him a pint is correct bar etiquette.

What I thought was a pretty good read early on is now becoming very redundant and boring. So, we'll see what happens from here on out.

This is a very cute story so far by this new-to-me author. I adore Ethan and Alex so much. I can't wait to see how they are when they get together. Awkward doesn't even begin to describe how they are around each other in the early part of this book. It's so adorable.

Starting chapter 15 and let's see how this author ruins our characters happiness by bringing in a cockblocker sister into the mix.
Also, Hawk's moe gap, that change from meek geek to sexual beast is way too porny. This is why I like to read stories about people with normal bodies and appetites (I'm fine with large appetites regarding food haha) The USP was resolved a bit too quickly thus needing the conflict.

Ethan is funny, in an adorkable way.
"I can’t stop long though; I’ve left my zebra running.”

This is going to be fun.

This is absolute bullshit! He was sexually assaulted!!! SMH... can everyone be that stupid all of the sudden?!

OMDG! Give me a f*@king break!! SMH.... like Alex is that stupid?! Sure know how to ruin a book. So f-ing disappointed....

Damn it! Why oh why do so many authors have to make women so disgustingly bad in m/m books?!?! Up until now I've been really enjoying this but give me a f@*king break, this is absolutely ridiculous!

I'm really enjoying this.

Wonderful ideas, vibrant characters, real community. Needs a heck of a lot of pull on the girdle to bring it to shape though: way too much loosely goosey material. Also, some of the conflict was contrived (silly misunderstandings).
