Status Updates From Twain & Stanley Enter Paradise

The friendship between Twain and Stanley is not one I was aware of. It is very interesting. Although this is a fictionalized work of that 17-year friendship, the author researched and worked on the book for over 10 years. Set in the Victorian era, the view into their long-vanished world is amazing. Disturbing portions covering the poverty, slavery, and the treatment of the women, is always upsetting.
