Going to pick this up again, but curious how I'll consider it now that I recently learned MRIs aren't as accurate as previously believed, and that a lot of the findings in neuroscience are now being put into question (TLDR, turns out blood flow to the brain (which is what an MRI shows you) is not a consistent indicator of brain activity b/c the brain can extract oxygen when needed without increasing blood flow...))

I love the premise of how complex observations of the world can often be explained in simple terms, when using the right framework. As a software engineer and life-long learner, this has always been a philosophy of mine: drown in the mess, and you'll start to notice patterns and simple mental models that are capable of explaining what it is you're observing 😊
