Things are getting really good. I love how aloof Alain is, and the new addition of Logan to the group is making things very interesting. Even though his motives are clearer now after chapter 10, I still think Jarel deserves a throat punch. This book is keeping me up past my bedtime!

So the queen's immortality is tied to her virginity? What total BS. Also, impractical in "in losing her maidenhood" she would lose get life in that virginity is a social construct and therefore NOT A REAL THING. It would be like saying she would lose her immorality if she lost her race. But wait, we live a in slut shaming culture, so of course it makes sense that a FEMALE character would die for having sex.

Too fast ! Needs more details ! Plot is not out of the ordinary too ! Pretty fun to read though.

This story plays out like a good ol'fashioned magical adventure cartoon. I'm enjoying the writing, but I really hope it has something bigger up its sleeves. :D

This is pretty well-written. Action scenes are nasty. Wonder if it can hold on to its "identity" and pull of a good ending.
